Project Overview
The Upper Kirby Redevelopment Authority (UKRA) proposes to reconstruct West Alabama Street from Buffalo Speedway to Shepherd Drive within the Upper Kirby District in Houston, Texas. Corridor improvements will include reconstruction of the roadway, improved pedestrian facilities, and drainage and public utility upgrades. The latest updated plan reflects changes aligned with the Mayor’s priorities around vehicular mobility.
